Washington has yet to officially announce any of their assistant coaching hires but recent reports have two additional names adding to the staff: Tony Bland and DeMarlo Slocum. Bland most recently served in college athletics as the associate head coach at USC under Andy Enfield where he was known as one of the best recruiters in California. Slocum has been an assistant at Utah under Craig Smith. Bland’s hire (though widely rumored for weeks) was first reported by Jeff Goodman while Steve Bartle confirmed the departure of Slocum for Washington.
