On Monday, Kansas City Chiefs players and coaches officially went back to work, with the start of Phase One of the offseason. As always, head coach Andy Reid joined local media members via Zoom.
Reid addressed the off-the-field situation concerning wide receiver Rashee Rice in his opening statement. Rice was recently hit with eight charges stemming from his involvement in a six-vehicle accident in late March.
“As far as Rashee Rice goes, his situation, I’m leaving that like we’ve done most of these: just for the law enforcement part of it to take place,” he explained.
