While Rob Colletti’s analysis yesterday showed why (if you didn’t already know) the problem with the White Sox starts at the top with chairman Jerry Reinsdorf, it’s worth emphasizing how awful this 2024 team is again.
Not only do the 2024 White Sox have the worst record in baseball, but they are also struggling on offense to the point of being shut out seven times already in the first 20 games of the season — a pace that would put them in the record books and surpass the current record of 33 shutouts set back in 1908 by the Cardinals.
